Painting and other modifications going well at the shed

Following the recent move into our new premises, work has continued to decorate the new lounge and workshop and the erection of partitions and doors to the other parts of the building.

A trip was made to the Ferryside Men’s Shed to collect a piece of machinery that had been on loan. As we were leaving we were given the opportunity to have a lathe that was no longer needed. Well, it would have been rude not to accept it, so in a flash, it was taken apart and placed in our trailer.

Another trip was made to see and evaluate a CNC milling machine in operation in a hobbyist’s shed. This kind of machine would be exceedingly useful to us but they are very expensive and, sadly, way past our current funds.
